Wednesday, May 16

  • NAR Midyear Trade Expo opens. If you are a registered REALTOR® Rally participant you may attend the Expo starting on Wednesday. The Expo will be open 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
  • Many State and Local associations will be holding their Hill visits on Wednesday. If you are a REALTOR® Rally participant and would like to attend a Hill visit you must contact your association to inquire about necessary logistics. NAR does not coordinate these meetings.
  • We encourage you to attend the Martinis at Midyear Reception at the Marriott Wardman Park hotel starting at 4:00 p.m. This reception is sponsored by Systems Engineering, Inc. The Trade Expo holds many resources for members and we encourage you to take advantage of access to these resources and programs.
  • NAR Headquarters Building Open House 9:00 am - 4:00 pm. Stop by and take a tour. Get a preview of the Rally space from the roof. 

Thursday, May 17th  REALTOR® Rally Day and Trade Expo!

 MIDYEAR MEETING ATTENDEES

You will receive a Metro Fare card in your registration packet for a round trip fare between the Midyear hotel and the REALTOR® Rally at the Washington Monument. Please be sure to stop by the Rally Information Desk in the Ballroom Lobby at the Marriott Wardman Park hotel and pick up your Rally backpack and rally materials. We encourage you to use Metro to travel between the hotels and the REALTOR® Rally. You should plan to arrive at the National Mall by 9:00 a.m. This will be a normal rush hour work day so plan accordingly. There is a Metro station directly across from the Marriott Wardman Park hotel. You will travel the Red Line from Woodley Park to Federal Triangle (closest), McPherson Square or Smithsonian. It will require a train change at Metro Center to the Blue Line. The Washington Monument is a few short blocks from either of these Metro stops. 

Buses will also be available to transport you to the Washington Monument. They can be located at the usual bus pick up zones at the of the Marriott Wardman Park and Hilton hotels.

You will receive your REALTOR® Rally materials at at the Marriott Wardman Park hotel prior to coming to the rally. Please be sure to bring this bag with you! We will let you know where they can be picked up closer to the rally. 

Breakfast will be served at the rally location starting at 7:30 am. We will both post and email everyone a map of where their state delegation will be located at the rally site to make it easy to connect with your fellow REALTORS® and leadership at the REALTOR® Rally event.

After the REALTOR® Rally, we will distribute box lunches. 

We once again encourage you to use Metro to return to the Midyear hotel and Trade Expo. Buses will also be circulating to take everyone to the Midyear Expo.


DAY TRIP PARTICIPANTS

 If you are arriving on a bus provided by your state or local association you will arrive directly at the Washington Monument. Your REALTOR® Rally bus captain will direct you to our staging area. 

You should plan to arrive at the National Mall by 8:00 a.m. Breakfast will be served at the Rally staging area starting at 7:30 am. We will both post and email everyone a map of where their state delegation will be located at the rally site to make it easy to connect with your fellow REALTORS® and leadership at the REALTOR® Rally event.

After the REALTOR® Rally, we will distribute box lunches. 

All day trip participants will begin boarding buses to take you to the NAR Midyear Trade Expo at the Marriott Wardman Park hotel. These buses will begin departing for the Expo beginning at 11:30 a.m.

Your bus will not depart back to your home state from the arrival point. All buses will depart starting at 3:15 p.m. from the Trade Expo at the Marriott Wardman Park hotel. You will have all afternoon to visit the Expo. Prominent posters and guides will be available to direct you to your correct bus for departure.

 If you are arriving on your own via car or public transportation, please plan to arrive at the Washington Monument no later than 9:00 a.m to pick up your REALTOR® Rally materials. We will have t-shirts and backpacks for all registered attendees. Breakfast and lunch will be provided.

Parking: There are numerous parking garages located near the Washington Monument.

Metro: You can easily access the Washington Monument via the Blue and Orange Line Federal Triangle, McPherson Square or Smithsonian stops. We encourage you to attend the Trade Expo at the Marriott Wardman Park hotel after the REALTOR® Rally is over.

  • NAR Midyear governance meetings continue at the Marriott Wardman Park hotel.
  • The Midyear Trade Expo is not open.
  • NAR Headquarters Building Open House 9:00 am - 4:00 pm. Stop by and take a tour.
  • We encourage non Midyear registrants to use the day to explore many of the free cultural and educational offerings Washington, D.C. provides.
